Job Summary
The role is a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a weekend-night shift (7pm–7am) on a 14-week assignment at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. The RRT builds pulmonary care under physician direction and collaborates with nursing and other health-care team members to provide age-appropriate respiratory assessments and treatments for patients from neonates to adults. Requires active NBRC RRT, Virginia respiratory licensure, and BLS at hire (with NBRC RRT to be obtained within 6 months for new graduates). Education options include an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy. Travel/temporary designation is emphasized, with benefits offered by the employer. Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree required
- State license, active NBRC RRT and BLS required at time of hire
- For new graduates only, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, and must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire date
- Education: Associate's Degree - Respiratory Therapy OR Bachelor’s Degree – Respiratory Therapy
- Certification/Licensure: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NBRC OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NBRC
- Respiratory Therapist License - Virginia (VADHP)
- 1 year of clinical respiratory care experience (preferred)
