Job Summary
Internal Sanitation role focusing on keeping production areas clean and sanitary. Responsibilities include internals and externals cleaning of processing equipment, cleaning non-processing equipment, collecting samples for micro-analysis, operating Microblend for morning start-up, maintaining sanitation logs, removing trash from the filling enclosure and plant floors, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to work off shifts in a wet environment, ability to read and follow chemical use instructions, and forklift certification. Emphasizes teamwork and safety within a Pepsi Bottling Ventures plant in Winston-Salem, NC.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in production or janitorial preferred
- Basic math skills and chemical safety preferred
- Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred
- Must be able to complete forklift certification
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete tasks
- English proficient (read/write)
