Job Summary
Help customers via phone, email, and in person; prepare quotes and process orders. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders while assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties. Complete local deliveries when required and support the day-to-day running of the branch. Follow safe work practices and look out for your team. This diverse, all-rounder role spans customer service, internal sales, warehouse operations, and local deliveries within a small, supportive team at Vulcan, Australasia's highest performing metals distributor.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, trade sales, customer service, or logistics
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to carry out physical warehouse work safely
- Reliable, organised, and willing to help where needed
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
- Basic computer skills
- Applicants must reside in New Zealand or hold a valid work visa
Desired Qualifications
- Fork Hoist Licence (bonus)
- Experience with building products, aluminium, or steel products will be an advantage
