Job Summary
Coordinate the timely flow of program information and develop engaging employee information products to strengthen workforce awareness and connection. Plan, develop, edit, and maintain content for articles, announcements, newsletters, and digital resources while drafting messages and scripts for senior executives. Execute employee morale events, recognition activities, facility tours, and leadership engagements to foster a positive workplace culture. Maintain organizational calendars and event schedules to support awareness of key activities and priorities. Gather feedback from technical organizations and employees to improve engagement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or similar field of study
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience leading in most of the duties in this job description
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with the capability to understand business problems and priorities and conceptualize compelling, impactful messaging that address them
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work products
- Experience planning and coordinating meetings, events, tours, or other organizational activities
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with employees and leadership at all organizational levels
- Adept at developing relationships to bring forth insights and information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint and Word)
- Experience developing visual products using graphic design, presentation, photography, video, or multimedia software
