Second in Department for Physical Education seeking an enthusiastic, committed leader to drive high standards of teaching and learning, support curriculum development, and promote participation and achievement across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities include leading and managing the PE department, contributing to the enrichment program, and collaborating with staff to raise standards. The role requires strong teaching ability in PE, leadership experience (e.g., mentoring, curriculum development), excellent communication, safeguarding and inclusive practices, and a proactive approach to school improvement. Open to current Bitterne Park School employees with QTS or equivalent qualification and willing to take on a TLR 2b responsibility.
