Job Summary
Payment Posting Specialist I responsible for posting ERA and manual payments, reviewing and applying contractual payor adjustments, performing follow-up on assigned accounts, and contributing to a team focused on accurate, efficient revenue-cycle tasks. Requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and proficiency with Excel and Word. Experience with Central Reach or Office Ally is a plus; familiarity with HIPAA regulations and insurance claim processes is expected. On-site in Austin, TX with remote flexibility outside the Austin area; opportunities to grow through leadership and professional development; includes competitive PTO, holidays, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of previous job experience in Payment Posting
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance claims
- Proficiency in Central Reach, Salesforce, and the Google suite of products
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
