Job Summary

Serve as a liaison between the organization and parents/guardians of patients with autism spectrum disorder, fostering relationships and ensuring family voices are heard. Develop connections with community organizations and schools to promote the mission of providing quality ABA therapy. Conduct outreach to raise awareness of the center's expertise and organize events and workshops to inform families of available resources. Gather testimonials and lead process improvement activities to maintain family satisfaction. Travel within designated regions for up to three weeks during campaign surges. Requires a bachelor's degree and strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse constituencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of community engagement or relations experience
  • Ability to travel within designated regions and across regions as required
  • Travel requirement of two to three weeks at a time during campaign surges
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred in Public Relations, Operations or Business, Human Resources, Social Work or related field
  • Strong familiarity with the resources available to families with children diagnosed with autism and the ABA services that Action Behavior Centers provides
  • Ability to speak Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; ability to foster a cooperative work environment and work collaboratively and empathically with others
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment skills; ability to develop strong preliminary investigative questions and use judgment skill to make assessments and ask the right follow-up questions
  • Strong sense of empathy and compassion for the families you serve
