Job Summary
Provide effective ABA training to newly hired and existing (Registered) Behavior Technicians, upholding ABC’s mission to deliver high quality early intensive behavior intervention for children with autism. Train, coach, model, and demonstrate ABA concepts and strategies per ABC curriculum; oversee an 8-day initial training program with ongoing post-training support; prepare therapists to achieve competency per the BACB Initial Competency; collaborate with leadership to plan ongoing RBT training across ABC centers; role focuses on training the team without caseloads; include on-site, center-based activities and related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Internal applicants: Experience level required starting at B-RBT IV or higher on the Elevate structure; external applicants: at least 3-4 years of ABA experience working with children with autism in either a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role; must demonstrate mastery in ABA therapy and pairing with children (90% on RBT Evaluation); recommendation letter from BCBA; no CA or PIP within past 12 months (internal); excellent verbal and written communication; reliable transportation; High School Diploma or equivalent
