Job Summary
Provide effective ABA training to newly hired and existing (Registered) Behavior Technicians to uphold ABC’s mission to deliver high quality early intensive behavior intervention for children with autism. Train, coach, and model ABA concepts and strategies per ABC curriculum; conduct an 8-day initial on-site training; observe and provide feedback on skills; prepare therapists to achieve BACB Initial Competency; collaborate with the VP of Training to plan ongoing, individual or small group RBT training; work exclusively with the training team with no designated caseload; post-training support at assigned centers as needed. Location is Houston, TX with on-site training requirements; role reports to the VP of Clinical Training and Program Manager of Clinical Training; includes center-based duties and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-4 years of ABA experience with children with autism (external applicants) or equivalent
- Demonstrated mastery in ABA therapy and pairing (90% on RBT Evaluation)
- Recommendation letter from BCBA
- No CA or PIP within the past 12 months (internal applicants)
- Excellent verbal and written communication required
- Reliable transportation
- Internal applicants: starting at B-RBT IV or higher on the Elevate structure (internal)
