INTERNAL ONLY Behavior Therapist / RBT Trainer

Job Summary
Provide ABA training to newly hired and existing RBTS to uphold ABC’s mission of high quality early intensive behavior intervention for children with autism. Train and coach through ABC’s curriculum, demonstrate ABA concepts, observe and give feedback on skills during an 8-day on-site training, and support ongoing post-training at assigned centers. Report to the VP of Clinical Training and Program Manager of Clinical Training; collaborate on ongoing, individual or small group RBT training across ABC centers. Trainers will work exclusively with the training team and will not carry a caseload. Requires experience in ABA, strong communication, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma; external applicants should have 3-4 years of ABA experience and a BCBA recommendation letter.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in ABA, working directly with children with autism as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Must demonstrate mastery in ABA therapy and pairing with children – 90% on RBT Evaluation
- Recommendation letter from BCBA
- No CA or PIP within the past 12 months (internal only)
- Excellent verbal and written communication required
- Must have reliable transportation
