Job Summary
Meet with potential customers to evaluate their financial background and homeownership goals, then recommend mortgage plans that best align with their needs. Guide clients through the application process by collecting financial documents, conducting interviews, and ensuring all information is complete and accurate. Work as a cohesive team with loan processors and underwriters to collect necessary documentation, resolve application issues, and meet deadlines while maintaining open communication throughout. Intake and track internal Hope mortgage leads, providing timely reporting on the origination of internal platforms and specialty products. Create positive, lasting relationships with clients to build a referral network within Hope's service network.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience in mortgage lending
- Three years of experience in residential mortgage loan processing and/or closing
- Demonstrated strength in ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining appropriate attention to details
