Job Summary
Join Riverside Medical Group as an Internal Medicine Residency Faculty Physician, focusing on Graduate Medical Education (GME) and providing care to hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include supervising house staff and medical students, guiding residents in bedside procedures, and serving as a role model in teaching and patient care. Engage in recruitment and selection of residency candidates, provide timely evaluations, mentor residents, oversee quality improvement projects, and participate in educational activities. Candidates must possess an MD/DO degree, have completed residency in a medical specialty, and hold a valid Virginia Physician License and DEA registration.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree MD/DO, Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
- Successful completion of residency or demonstrated experience in medical specialty (Required)
- Physician License (MD) - Virginia Board of Medicine Upon Hire (Required)
- Valid DEA for controlled substances registration (Required)
