Internal Medicine Physician

Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages at a Federally Qualified Health Center in the Los Angeles area, delivering integrated medical services in a community-focused setting. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing chronic and acute conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver whole-person care, educating patients and families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles, documenting care in the EHR, and participating in Saturday coverage (two per month) and one evening clinic per week (11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.). Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of Internal Medicine residency, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, active California medical license with DEA and BLS, and familiarity with EHR systems. Per-diem, hourly compensation at $175/hour; location at Compton health center with opportunities to impact health equity and community well-being within SJCH’s network.
