Job Summary
Provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and health assessments while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate patients on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care, maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active Connecticut medical license (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
