Internal Medicine physician needed for locum tenens coverage in an outpatient clinic in Connecticut. The clinician will supervise resident clinics Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, managing 18-25 patients per half day with 5-6 learners per session. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters, examining patients jointly with residents and interns from July through December, providing constructive verbal feedback while completing written evaluations, overseeing inbox management and prescription requests, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining shared call coverage every third week. Internal Medicine training with primary care experience is required to support the precepting role effectively.
