Job Summary
Internal Medicine physician needed for locum coverage in an outpatient psychiatric hospital setting in Raleigh, NC. The clinician will provide medical services to an adult psychiatric patient population Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including health and physical examinations, chart review, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. The physician will oversee medication and medical management for the assigned patient population within a behavioral health environment. Prescriptive authority is required; board certification is negotiable. Assignment duration is July for 3 to 6 months. Locations include Raleigh, NC and nearby New Hill, NC, with on-site work.
