Job Summary
Internal Medicine physician needed for locum coverage in an on-site, outpatient geriatric care setting in Raleigh, North Carolina. The clinician will provide comprehensive primary care services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, supported by a full clinical team (MDs, RNs, and MAs). Call requirements are negotiable. Prescriptive authority is required. Location is on-site in a long-term geriatric facility; patient population is adults. This assignment emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and accurate medical documentation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Internal Medicine physician licensed to practice in North Carolina
- MD degree or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or eligibility (negotiable)
- Willingness to provide care in a geriatric long-term care setting
- Prescriptive authority
- On-site work in Raleigh, NC
