Job Summary
Internal Medicine physician needed for 100% outpatient practice in Suffolk, VA. Join Bon Secours Internists of Churchland, a busy, team-oriented group replacing a retired physician to manage an immediate patient panel. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with light, team-based call coverage after-hours/weekends/PTO. Benefits include guaranteed base salary for 2 years, productivity/quality bonuses, sign-on and loan assistance, up to $10,000 relocation, generous PTO/ATO, CME allowance, and robust benefits within a non-profit system. Role emphasizes independent patient-panel management, population-health focused care, and collaboration with on-site support (LPNs, CMAs, PSRs, pharmacists) and access to EPIC EMR, telemedicine, and AI-assisted workflow. Location-based details: Suffolk, Virginia, US. Start date approximately 120 days post-offer pending credentialing.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM/ABMS)
- Completion of a U.S.-based Internal Medicine residency
- Prior internal medicine or outpatient experience preferred
- Comfortable managing a patient panel independently
- Committed to high-quality, relationship-based, population health-focused care
