Job Summary
Locum tenens Internal Medicine Physician needed in Lansing, Michigan to provide coverage with Monday–Friday 9 am–5 pm hours. Anticipated caseload is 20–25 patients per day. Must have pain management experience and be comfortable prescribing narcotics. Assignment includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses, with time entry managed through an online portal. Weatherby Healthcare will support through a dedicated consultant; the position is part of Weatherby’s locum-tenens staffing for hospitals and clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD/DO) in Internal Medicine
- Licensed physician in Michigan
- Ability to prescribe narcotics and manage pain (pain experience)
- Locum tenens/temporary assignment availability
