Job Summary
Internal Medicine Physician needed to provide high-quality, comprehensive care for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and sexually transmitted diseases. Responsibilities include screening, diagnosis, treatment, treatment adherence counseling, patient education, making necessary referrals, and after-hours call coverage. Role requires adherence to Ryan White standards, compassionate care for diverse communities, and collaboration with the health center to support underserved populations. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with benefits including health/dental/vision, 403b with match, PTO, holidays, life insurance, and disability coverage. Applicants must hold a medical degree, Florida medical licensure (MD or DO), and state DEA certification; board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice is required with HIVMA/AAHIVM strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree in Medicine from an Accredited School
- Current, Active and Unencumbered Florida State Licensure, MD or DO
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- HIVMA or AAHIVM certification Strongly Preferred
- Current Federal DEA Certification
