Job Summary
Internal Medicine Physician needed for outpatient primary care roles across multiple metro locations in Southeast Florida (West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale), Atlanta, Athens (GA), and San Antonio (TX). Responsibilities include performing history and physical exams, diagnosing and managing acute/chronic conditions, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting labs/imaging/EKGs, prescribing medications, providing preventive care, supervising NPs/PAs/nurses, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and participating in quality-improvement initiatives. Requirements include an MD or DO, residency in Family/Internal Medicine or related primary care, current state license, board certification or eligibility in FM/IM, DEA, and BLS (ACLS may be required). Candidate must demonstrate strong diagnostic/clinical skills, effective communication and leadership, and capability to collaborate within a healthcare team; EMR/EHR proficiency and cultural/community-focused care are essential. Typical schedule is outpatient, with potential evenings/weekends and on-call depending on setting; competitive base compensation with potential bonus and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or related primary care specialty
- Current unrestricted state medical license
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- DEA registration
- BLS; ACLS may be required
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
- Cultural competency and community-oriented care focus
