Job Summary
Internal Medicine Physician sought for Alabama outpatient Primary Care clinics. Responsibilities include providing outpatient primary care with a focus on prevention and value-based care, typically seeing 12-15 Medicare Advantage patients per day, promoting four well visits per year, proactive outreach to at-risk patients, same-day urgent appointments, and transitional care management. Emphasis on smaller panel sizes, no hospital work, and state-of-the-art facilities with a quality team. Criteria include Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or D.O., Alabama medical license, DEA license, current CPR certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS), EMR proficiency, ICD-10 coding knowledge, STAR measure attainment, and strong communication and organizational skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Medical License in the state of Alabama
- DEA License
- Up-to-date CPR Certification (BLS, ACLS, and PALS)
- Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Knowledge of ICD-10 Coding and STAR measure attainments
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Computer literacy on G-Suite products and database programs
