Job Summary
Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections. Develop personalized treatment plans including medication management and lifestyle modifications, while performing minor surgical procedures like suturing and lesion removal. Educate patients on preventative care and disease management, and maintain accurate records using electronic health record systems. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and participate in continuing medical education. Adhere to ethical standards and Washington State licensing requirements. This full-time role includes 36 hours of clinical work and 4 hours of administrative tasks, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no on-call duties or weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Washington
- Unrestricted DEA and NPI
- Ability to be credentialed under with all major insurances as well as Medicare
- Proficient in use of the EMR
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make evidence-based medical decisions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
