Job Summary
Internal Medicine Physician needed for a correctional health team in the Houston area. Role emphasizes intake assessments, chronic disease management, emergency stabilization (BLS), and coordination of specialty referrals in a collaborative, team-based setting with on-site radiology, lab, pharmacy, and nutrition. Schedule is night shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, full-time, with approximately 2–3 patients per hour and a strong emphasis on continuity of care for an underserved population. Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active medical license in Texas or eligible
- Ability to work night shift
- Experience in primary care or correctional health preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
