Job Summary
Perform a full range of physician services, including examining, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing courses of treatment within granted privileges. Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals and provide educational lectures and in-service training to clinic staff. Order diagnostic tests and request consultations or referrals as indicated. Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling. This role offers a 1099 option with a full-time schedule of M-F 0730-1630 at the 633d Medical Group at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification, and at least two years of experience as an Internal Medicine Physician.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
- Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada
- Board Certification
- Successful completion of an internship and residency program
- At least 1 year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting
- Minimum 2-years of experience as an Internal Medicine Physician
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine
- Mon-Fri schedule
- 40hrs/wk

- Must be a graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada
- Evidence of equivalent education or certification for foreign medical graduates required
