Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients in a primary care setting with a focus on preventive care and chronic condition management. Collaborate with the healthcare team while independently managing clinical cases using EClinicalWorks for EMR and Medical Dragon One for dictation. Maintain proficiency in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding guidelines to support productivity bonuses. Work a full-time 4.5-day week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with minimal on-call phone responsibilities only.
Required Qualifications
- Georgia State Nurse Practitioner License
- specialty in family or adult medicine
- Board certification in the Nurse Practitioner's specialty area, specifically as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
- National Board Certification
- Certification through either the AANP or ANCC
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited nurse practitioner program
- minimum of three years of experience in primary care, specifically in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Knowledge of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding guidelines
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- EClinicalWorks for our EMR system
- Medical Dragon One for dictation
- Strong Clinical Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
