Job Summary
Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions as the primary attending or consulting physician to guide patients through their hospital stay. Collaborate with a close-knit daytime team of rounders and an APP to manage a sustainable workload of 10–14 daily patients with zero procedure requirements. Focus on medical management while maintaining clinical autonomy to perform procedures if desired. Champion care cost-effectiveness by partnering with the team to improve clinical quality metrics and patient safety. Join a Level III Trauma Center in Oshkosh, WI, operating on a highly predictable 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for an unrestricted Wisconsin state medical license
- DEA registration
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- H1-B Visa Eligible
