Job Summary
Linguistically and culturally interpret written material while maintaining the original text's structure, style, and accuracy. Research industry-specific terminology, proofread translated texts for grammar and spelling, and build relationships with the Translations Services team to update glossaries, Translation Memories, and style guides. Identify gaps in instructions or external issues affecting client commitments, ensuring all translations adhere to quality standards and meet client deadlines. This role supports IQVIA's mission to accelerate the development of innovative medical treatments and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Native speaker in advertised targeted language (English Native, Fluent Korean)
- Fluency in source language(s)
- At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
- A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
- Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
