Job Summary
Internal Medical Translator role focused on translating and proofreading life sciences content (Korean to English) with a strong emphasis on terminology research, glossary updates, and collaboration with IQVIA Translations Services to ensure on-time delivery and quality commitments. Key tasks include maintaining translation memory glossaries, adhering to style guides, proofreading translations for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy, and acting as a strategic partner to improve translation processes for clinical trial documents and commercialization materials. Requires native or fluent Korean and English, 3+ years of life sciences translation experience (or 5+ years without a degree), and experience with CAT tools and translation management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Native speaker in advertised targeted language (English Native, Fluent Korean)
- Fluency in source language(s)
- At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
- A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience OR no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
- Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
