This role blends field service expertise with process engineering ownership, supporting tool performance, customer acceptance, yield optimization, and uptime in 24/7 HVM operations. Ideal for experienced engineers with experience at leading tool suppliers who bring strong tool knowledge and want to expand into process optimization, troubleshooting leadership, and customer-facing engineering. Responsibilities include leading tool validation, qualification, and customer acceptance activities; verifying system performance against specifications; optimizing plasma processes for yield and throughput; supporting production ramp into HVM; developing process recipes from existing starting points; supporting daily fab operations; monitoring chamber and tool performance; analyzing trends and implementing fixes. Key technical activities cover plasma chamber maintenance, vacuum, RF, electrical & PLC control troubleshooting, process qualification excursions, and contamination control. Travel up to 50% is noted; the role involves working in a cleanroom environment with active participation in process performance, acceptance, sustaining, and tool uptime objectives.
