Job Summary
On-site Internal IT & Innovation Administrator role owning ComTec’s internal technology environment, combining hands-on systems administration and end-user support with strategic planning and innovation leadership. Responsibilities include administering Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Intune, endpoint security, backups, VPN, and network infrastructure; managing user lifecycles; deploying devices; patching and maintenance; monitoring security and performance; drafting documentation; ensuring policy compliance; serving as primary IT support (Tier 1–3); managing tickets; developing an internal technology roadmap; researching emerging tools and AI solutions; leading pilot programs and proofs-of-concept; evaluating ROI, usability, scalability, and security; presenting recommendations to leadership; tracking outcomes; adherence to change management; daily timesheet/expense reporting; occasional after-hours work; and other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of progressive IT experience
- Strong systems administration background
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Experience implementing or evaluating new technologies preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field preferred
- Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator, or equivalent
