Job Summary
Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking two motivated Clinical Resource Leads (CRL) for its Medicine Department, responsible for overseeing daily operations of inpatient care areas, including assessment, planning, provision, and evaluation of patient care. This part-time role requires a Registered Nurse with a baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience. Essential skills include leadership, communication, stress handling, conflict resolution, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Additionally, candidates should have current certifications in various life support programs and exemplary attendance records.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, baccalaureate prepared and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in a medical-surgical environment, including intensive care
- Previous experience as charge nurse
- Current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias
- Exemplary attendance and work record
- Compassionate with sound judgement, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle stress, be flexible and constantly adapt to shifting priorities
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in approaches to effectively assist with and manage change and build capacity in self and in the team
- Ability to lead change processes by helping stakeholders see necessity and value of change, and work to get people engaged and excited
- Effective team player with leadership values that reflect a commitment to the development of themselves and others, culture development and best outcomes for patients, families and the inter-professional team

- Formal leadership development courses
- Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support, STABLE, EFM, Breast Feeding, Critical Care Courses or Certificate, advanced wound care, geriatric management, obstetrics, currently or previous participation in the More OB Program etc.
