Internal Customer Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinate and complete all internal tasks related to onboarding new business, ensuring initial servicing of new customer residents is smooth and error-free. Establish and maintain facility setups within the pharmacy management system, configure workflows based on account requirements, and customize templates to align with facility needs. Devise plans to maintain accurate medication lists until the go-live date while conducting quality assurance and testing to ensure interface functionality. Serve as the primary contact for eMAR/EHR-related inquiries and troubleshoot ongoing support for interface problems. Collaborate with internal teams to address system performance gaps and provide assistance in pharmacy operations as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Advanced computer skills
  • pharmacy operations system experience
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
  • Working knowledge of State Assisted Living regulations and facility requirements
  • Experience working with medication administration records

  • Ability to occasionally stand or otherwise be able to access files, equipment, and other items in high places
  • Ability to constantly operate computers, phones, and other office equipment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
