Job Summary
Transport medical devices and supplies to healthcare facilities, clinics, and patients; plan and optimize delivery routes; inspect devices prior to delivery; follow SOPs for loading/unloading and securing items; maintain accurate delivery records and recipient signatures; communicate with operations, healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure timely, compliant, and courteous service; adhere to laws and privacy regulations; perform routine vehicle maintenance; maintain a clean, organized vehicle and dispose of packaging materials properly; flexible hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in logistics or healthcare-related fields are a plus
- Proven experience as a courier or in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or medical device industry
- Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with local traffic regulations and good sense of direction
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical devices and maintaining delivery records
- Interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; professionalism and reliability
- Physical stamina and strength to handle and lift medical devices of varying sizes and weights
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays
