Internal Controls Manager

Oversee the company's design of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) for a U.S.-based multinational public company. Advise the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller on internal control topics, ensuring control descriptions are accurately documented in AuditBoard. Optimize control design by identifying opportunities to replace manual controls with automated solutions or shifting from detective to preventive measures. Directly support control owners in Accounting and IT by addressing questions and concerns, acting as a liaison between Internal Audit and other stakeholders. Coordinate with External Auditors to manage project delivery, tracking documentation requests and escalating adherence to deadlines as needed. Oversee controls related to user access reviews, separation of duties, and exception monitoring.
