Job Summary
Internal Control Specialist (Technology Risk) focused on strengthening and managing Adyen's global internal control framework, assessing and improving IT processes, risks, and controls, coordinating testing and audit activities (e.g., SOC1/SOC2), and serving as a trusted advisor to the business in a fast-paced, office-first environment in Amsterdam. The role emphasizes independent risk management in technology across the payments domain, collaboration with the Internal Control team, and aligning controls with regulatory and business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant working experience (approximately 4-7 years) within an IT audit, IT risk management or internal control function.
- Experience with IT risk management and designing and testing of IT controls.
- Knowledge of IT processes, IT risks and building internal control frameworks.
- Able to operate comfortably and independently within a fast-paced global environment.
- Critical thinking skills and eagerness to comprehend emerging internal and external developments and execute accordingly.
- Eager to work in an innovative technology company within the financial sector.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
