Internal Communications Manager

Internal Communications Manager at Assurant supports the Global Communications team by acting as a strategic partner to leaders across the organization. Responsibilities include translating complex strategies into clear narratives for diverse global audiences, developing and executing integrated communications plans, aligning messaging and channels, collaborating with Communications, Marketing, and other teams, shaping stories that connect strategy, innovation (including AI), and people to business impact, and using data to refine messaging. The role requires strong writing and editing skills, executive presence, stakeholder influence, program management, and a continuous improvement mindset to raise clarity, creativity, and effectiveness across deliverables. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or comparable work experience) and 8+ years in internal communications within a large, global organization; travel up to 10% annually. Proficiency with communications tools and platforms (including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Copilot) and experience with AI applications in communications are highly valued.
