Internal Communications Manager, ANZ

Job Summary
Develop, implement, and measure internal communications strategies for ANZ (Australia and New Zealand), with a focus on supporting the CEO, State MDs and Business Line leads. Lead the rollout and adoption of the Connect intranet, tailor global messages for specific audiences, manage channels (newsletters, intranet, events, internal screens), and build productive relationships with ANZ leadership. Collaborate with the global Internal Communications team and cross-functional colleagues to maintain an annual communications calendar and governance. The role requires strong writing, stakeholder management, and project-management skills, plus the ability to work in a matrixed environment and to drive data-informed improvements. Location: On-site in Sydney, NSW.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in communications roles, preferably internal communications
- PR Agency experience and training an advantage
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with senior executives
- Strong ability to translate complex information into clear messaging
- Excellent project management and operational skills
- Proficiency with digital platforms for internal communications; ability to derive insights from data
