Internal Communications Lead

Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of AVID’s internal communications strategy to align across the organization. Partner with the CEO, ELT, and senior leaders to craft clear, compelling executive communications; translate strategy and complex topics into accessible messages; oversee channels (town halls, intranet, email) and content such as announcements and leadership talking points. Drive organizational alignment and change communications, reinforce culture and psychological safety, and measure engagement with data-driven insights to continuously improve communications. Maintain tone, voice, and messaging standards; collaborate with People, Legal, and leadership teams to ensure inclusive and thoughtful communications; manage content lifecycle and measure effectiveness to inform leadership decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, HR, or related field
- 8+ years of internal communications or corporate communications experience
- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced organization (GMP or regulated environment is a plus)
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
- Proven experience supporting executive communications
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities
