Internal Communications Coordinator

Job Summary
As an Internal Communications Coordinator at Sand Valley, you will enhance engagement and connectivity across the organization through strategic internal communications. You will create and implement communication plans, manage content for internal channels, collaborate with HR and leadership on employee engagement initiatives, and draft executive communications. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, project management abilities, and a values-driven approach to communication. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least one year of related experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans and strategies
- The ability to measure and report on communication effectiveness
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience managing internal channels such as intranets and email newsletters
- Comfort supporting multi-channel communications
- Experience creating print and digital communication collateral
- Familiarity running and reporting on internal communications campaigns
- Competency with Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools) and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp or comparable tools)
- Experience in change communications and/or crisis communications is a plus but not a must
