Job Summary
Internal Communications Assistant responsible for designing and producing engaging content across internal channels (including the intranet Athena) in collaboration with the Marketing and Business Development team. The role supports scheduling and triage of internal communications requests, acts as a key EMEAPAC contact for the intranet, uses approved AI tools for drafting and editing with human oversight, explores AI-enabled features to improve efficiency and accessibility, supports EMEAPAC news publishing across channels, and serves as a quality-control point ensuring branding, tone of voice, and strategic messaging alignment. This position is based in Newcastle (UK) and offers a flexible work model with both office and remote options, in coordination with the PR, Social Media, and global comms teams. Key skills include Intranet/SharePoint proficiency, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office abilities, organizational and time-management capabilities, and an interest in responsible AI use in a professional environment, with an emphasis on inclusivity and diverse, global collaboration.
