Job Summary
Plan and support audit engagements for the Hong Kong Branch, including risk identification, defining audit objectives, and ensuring documentation complies with standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to complete assignments within budgeted time, exercise professional scepticism, and draft final audit reports with root cause assessments. Follow up on identified issues to validate that management implements remedial measures within agreed timeframes. Contribute to annual risk assessments, perform detailed reviews of team documentation, and provide developmental feedback. Maintain continuous contact with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring ethical behavior and compliance with local banking regulations and IIA standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 8 years post-graduate experience in auditing
- Experience preferably in the Wealth Management industry
- Good knowledge of local banking and relevant regulatory body rules and regulations in Hong Kong
- CA, CPA and/or CIA
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a dynamic, fast-paced, and geographically distributed organization
- Preparedness for limited (up to 20%) travelling

- Compliance with the Standards for Professional Practice of Internal Auditing by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
- Ability to work collaboratively within the audit team and audit stakeholders
- Ability to ensure audit documentation complies with auditing standards and internal audit methodology
- Ability to assess the severity of identified issues and related risks
- Ability to follow up on audit issues raised
- Ability to contribute to the annual risk assessment and the annual audit planning process
- Ability to provide support to other key Julius Baer locations including but not limited to the Asia region
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred in Finance or Accounting
- Candidates holding recognised AML certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist)
- Knowledge of banking and regulatory requirement of Singapore
