Job Summary
Internal Auditor role in Brno, Czech Republic focusing on evaluating the global internal control environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include assisting in project preparation and planning to target key risk areas, performing internal audit fieldwork for business processes, financial reporting, internal controls, and SOX walkthroughs, drafting audit deliverables, following up on findings, collaborating with audit staff and external resources, and driving continuous improvements in the audit process through automation and analytics. Requires collaboration across teams, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel (domestically and internationally).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
- 1 - 3 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or general accounting or finance functions within a corporate environment
- Understanding of US SOX requirements
- Experience using SAP, Oracle, and consolidation software for audit related purposes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to travel domestically as well as internationally
- Must be fluent in English
