Job Summary
Conduct J-SOX (ITGC) assessments to evaluate system controls for financial reporting reliability and oversee security audits to verify control effectiveness against evolving threats. Engage in dialogue with management and business units to establish "truly effective control environments" that accelerate rather than hinder business growth. Build expertise spanning IT governance and security auditing while collaborating directly with engineers across the Rakuten Ecosystem. This role supports the Internal Audit Department's mission of optimizing risk management within a team of mid-career professionals reporting to the President.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in J-SOX (ITGC) or security audits
- 3+ years of experience in IT planning, development, or operations
- proven experience in communicating with stakeholders or business units
- TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or proof of a bachelor's degree or higher from a university in an English-speaking country)
