Job Summary
Develop audit plans, conduct preliminary risk assessments, and coordinate with management to schedule activities across the manufacturing and FMCG sectors. Lead fieldwork teams to test internal controls and document findings regarding non-compliance and operational risks. Prepare comprehensive reports presenting conclusions to senior stakeholders and provide guidance to junior auditors. Track the implementation of corrective actions and monitor ongoing risk changes to ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Accounts/ Finance/ Economics from a recognized University
- Certified Public Accountant CPA-K/ ACCA, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Internal Audit within the FMCG manufacturing industry
- Hands on experience in auditing through Computerized Systems
- knowledge of ERP
- Proficient in word/ excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Membership of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or Information Systems Audit (ISA)
