Job Summary
Internal Audit Learning Program Specialist reports to the Center for Audit Practices and Enablement (CAPE) within Vanguard’s Internal Audit team. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive learning strategy, roadmap, and curriculum aligned to the needs of the Internal Audit SOX organization; synthesizing inputs to identify priority capability gaps and translating insights into curriculum design; delivering engaging learning sessions (in-person, on-the-job, e-learning, external training); building relationships with IAS stakeholders; ensuring programs align with industry standards such as the IIA Global Audit Standards; staying updated on related standards and proposing enhancements; assessing effectiveness and participating in special projects. Qualifications include five years of related work experience, undergraduate degree or equivalent, audit/risk/controls exposure, and preferred certifications (CIA/CPA/CISA). The role is hybrid with proximity to Malvern, PA, and Vanguard states sponsorship is not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Typically five (5) years related work experience
- undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience in audit, risk or controls with exposure to audit lifecycle preferred
- Experience in creating and delivering learning content or curriculums, ideally for an audit/risk related environment, is preferred
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and levels to influence, drive change, and deliver results
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex audit concepts into clear, practical messaging
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or other relevant certification preferred
- Hybrid position proximity to Malvern, PA office
