Job Summary
Assist with audit execution under supervision by documenting business processes, performing audit testing procedures, and preparing workpapers. Leverage data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and risks while evaluating the adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting. Support the development of analytics-based procedures for compliance testing and ensure transaction processing accuracy against company policies and applicable regulations. Work 20-30 hours per week on-site in Westchester, IL, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 required. Currently enrolled students in Accounting, Finance, or related fields with unrestricted work authorization are eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Progress towards a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar
- Minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0
- Ability to work 20-30 hrs per week during the fall internship term
- Ability to work on-site in Westchester office at least 1 day per week
- Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor's Program
- If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft application suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience or coursework in data visualizations tools, such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred
