Job Summary
Vice President, Technology Audit in Dallas leads multiple audits of the firm’s technology infrastructure and business systems, leveraging expertise in cybersecurity, application development, electronic trading, risk management, and anti-financial crime systems. Drives discussions with senior technology stakeholders to understand risk drivers and control state, defines audit scope, designs control testing, and validates operating effectiveness. Manages test design and data-driven validation of complex controls, analyzes system architecture controls, and evaluates technology risks against business and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with application developers, system architects, engineers, and security practitioners to audit applications and systems; assesses management action plans to address deficiencies and applies data analytics and data mining to support audit conclusions across multi-region initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with specified years of experience
- hands-on experience in auditing technology controls including data analysis, scripting, and testing
- ability to collaborate with developers, engineers, and security practitioners
- familiarity with KYC/BSA-AML and sanctions compliance in audits
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree or 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree in related auditing/tech fields
- experience with object-oriented programming (Java or C++), or Python
- SQL and data analytics/data mining
- collaboration across global teams
- knowledge of information systems, networks, system architecture, information security, SDLC, vulnerability management, data protection
- experience with KYC, BSA/AML and Sanctions in audits
