Job Summary
Coordinate internal audit activities to support the Compliance Audit & Risk Manager. Plan, execute, and report on internal audits, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulations including grant requirements, and FQHC guidelines. Develop annual audit workplans, monitor and report findings, assist with corrective action plans, maintain audit documentation, prepare detailed audit reports, and communicate results to department heads and grant managers. Identify opportunities for process improvements within grant-funded programs and stay informed on changes in regulations and best practices related to grant management and internal auditing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience auditing in a healthcare setting.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge such as HIPAA, compliance, audit, etc.
- FQHC experience preferred.
