Job Summary
Internal Audit - AWM Engineering Audit Associate will independently assess Goldman Sachs' technology control environment as part of the Firm's third line of defense. You will review technology processes, evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls, document assessments and testing, discuss results with local and global management, and monitor the resolution of open audit findings. You will support the Audit Committee, Board of Directors and Risk Committee by providing independent, objective, timely assurance on internal controls across governance, risk management and technology risk domains. The role requires strong analytical skills, professional skepticism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment; preferred capabilities include code review (Java, C++, Python) and experience with data analytics tools.
Required Qualifications
- Degree / Certifications in Information Technology
- 3-6 years of experience as a Technology auditor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of software development concepts and system architecture
- Basic level understanding of databases, operating systems and messaging
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL
- Ability to review / develop code (Java, C++, Python, etc.) (Preference)
- Knowledge of Financial Products and Services (Preference)
